World AIDS Day — December 1st

World AIDS Day is held on December 1st each year and is an opportunity for people worldwide to unite in the fight against HIV, show their support for people living with HIV, and commemorate the people who have died.

Globally, an estimated 34 million people have HIV. More than 35 million people have died from the virus, making it one of the most destructive pandemics in history.

“World AIDS Day reminds us that HIV has not gone away – there is still a vital need to raise money, increase awareness, fight stigma and improve education.”

Show your support by wearing a red ribbon — the international symbol of HIV awareness.

The Annual AIDS Benefit

Hosted by the GLCR/Q Nightclub and Lounge, The Annual AIDS Benefit is a fantastic fundraising event held near December 1st each year. All proceeds support APSS programs and services.
